Site managers earn seal of excellence

Two site managers at a Spalding housing development have been recognised as the best in their field after winning a top industry award.

Andrew Smith and Greg Wimsey, site managers at Kier Living Eastern’s Kingfisher Court, won a National House Building Council’s Seal of Excellence for the Eastern region.

The Seal of Excellence recognises and rewards the UK’s best site managers and provides homebuyers with extra peace of mind about the quality of their new home. Competition is tough and the site managers are assessed by experts during the judging process.

Andrew and Greg were also among seven Kier Living Eastern site managers who won NHBC’s Pride in the Job Quality Awards this year. They both work at Kingfisher Court, which is located in Spalding on the banks of the River Welland, and comprises two, three and four-bedroom homes.

Nick Moore, managing director of Kier Living Eastern, said: “This is yet another endorsement of the quality of our homes.

“All of our teams consistently demonstrate incredible professionalism and this year they have won a host of awards.

“These awards provide further assurance for everyone buying a Kier home of the amazing workmanship and pride in the job that all our employees demonstrate.”

Construction director Mark Smith added: “Our site managers are the crème de la crème and we are delighted Andy and Greg’s efforts have been recognised.”
