Silver spree for Holbeach kickboxing talent Oliver in Germany

Holbeach lad Oliver Maddison is celebrating after winning two silver medals for England at the WFMC World Amateur Kickboxing Championships.

The 11-year-old, who has been training in the discipline for six years, won his medals in continuous fighting and in points fighting (under-45kg, up to 12 years old) at the Hagen event in Germany.

The South Holland youngster qualified for the WFMC competition in February and was one of four team-mates from Boston-based Pride UK competing. All of them managed to win medals.

Maddison and his family would like to say a big thank you to Richard Wallace, Team GB Coach and owner of Pride UK Boston, for his help and dedication to his club.
