Silver Spoon Bowmen shine in county stakes

The Silver Spoon Bowmen are celebrating county championship glory after a successful day at the Lincolnshire Outdoor Archery Championships in Boston.

A large team from the Spalding-based club travelled to the Mayflower Sports Ground and returned with six county champions in their ranks.
Amy Gott won the Lady Recurve title, with the Lady Compound championship going to Lynn Fisher.
Junior Lady Recurve champion was Jemima Debney and Hamish Turner took the Junior Men’s Barebow title.
Ioan Macrae came away with a Junior Men Compound championship win and Roger Sale was crowned Men’s Longbow champion.
In addition, Dave Inglis was second and Sam Newton third in men’s recurve. Henry Tuthill and Carl Watkin were also shooting.
