Ship keep up winning ways at the top of darts Division Three

Ship Long Sutton kept up their winning ways in Division Three of the Spalding Darts League and sit comfortably at the top.

They beat Lincoln B, who were sitting in second place at the start of the night, 7-2.
Jake Hinta Penta, Rob Black, Travis Stapleton and Zach Chapman got the singles wins for the Ship.
The singles winners for the Lincoln were Andy Palmer and John Charlton, the latter hitting a 180 in a fine 15-dart leg.
With Lincoln B losing, Riverside Hotel stepped up, beating Drayman’s C 5-4 to move into second place.
After going 2-1 up in the pairs, Riverside were sitting comfortably before wins for Jonny Pell and Tracey Baldwin stretched the lead to 4-1.
Drayman’s had a small fight back with wins for Shane Evans and Scott O’Connell, but Riverside captain Carl Kirk beat Chris Reynolds to seal his game.
Draymans C captain Connor Newton had a fine 180 in his win as did Kirk in his victory, but player of the night was Baldwin, who had a 180 and an 18-dart leg.
At the other end of the table Moulton Harrox got their first win of the season with a 5-4 victory over Green Dragon B.
Harrox captain Jamie McHugh went on last, fired in a 180 and beat Adam Clark to seal the victory for his team.
With table leaders Pied Calf not having a game this week, the other teams all fought for the points to catch them up.
Consti D stepped into second with a great 6-3 victory against Holbeach Services.
John Robinson, Danny Drage and Ady Smith got the singles victories after winning all three pairs.
Josh Moyses, for Services, hit a 180 in his victory over Steve Emery.
Tigers B also had a good 6-3 victory over Drayman’s B, going 2-1 up in the pairs wins for Dave Henderson, Ian McCreery, Danny Goddards and Charlie Henderson sealed the victory for the Tigers.
On to Division One and Consti A beat Drayman’s A 6-3 to stay at the top of the league.
Consti went 2-1 up but lost the first two singles, meaning they were 3-2 down.
However fine wins for Jack Chilvers, Chris Fidler, Nick Moyses and Andy Bingham sealed the victory.
Bingham had a 180 and a 17-dart leg in his win over Josh Grainger.
Last year’s winners Tigers C sit in second with a game in hand over Consti. They had a tight victory over the Lincoln Arms A.
Lincoln went 2-1 up in pairs but wins for Simon Hill, Colin Hatter and Mark Horspool swung the tie in the favour of Tigers C.
Captain Luke Rhodes and veteran Steve Stancer got wins for the Lincoln to take it to a final game.
Kev Aldhous sealed the victory for the Tigers with a 2-0 win over Dave Bourne and fired in a 180 on the way.
Horspool also had a 180 and an 18-dart leg and Rhodes checked out on 115.
Rose and Crown got their first victory of the year with a 6-3 win over Consti E.
Winning all three pairs set the tone for the night and wins for Tyger Atkin, Gary Mace and Hank Watson sealed the victory.
Atkin had a 16-dart leg but player of the night was Gary Mace with two 180s and a 17-dart leg.
