Search for missing teen moves to Pode Hole

The search for a teen missing since July has moved to Pode Hole after two weeks of looking in and around the A16 in Cowbit.

Bernadette Walker (17) was reported missing from her Peterborough home on July 21.

Her parents Sarah (37) and Scott Walker (50), both of Century Square, Peterborough have appeared in court charged with her murder.

Search and diving teams from Cambridgeshire Police descended on the area in and around the River Welland to the west of the village.

Searches have continued on the river as far as Little London in Spalding.
But after two weeks the search teams have been seen at Crowland yesterday (Monday( while Cambridgeshire Police say teams are now searching in the Pode Hole area.

“It’s all part of the Bernadette Walker investigation,” a Cambridgeshire Policespokesman said.
