School choir sings for Holbeach Hospital residents

A school choir spread the sweet sound of music through Holbeach Hospital as part of their harvest festival celebrations.

The Chamber Choir of University Academy Holbeach visited Holbeach Hospital to deliver donated produce and to entertain the residents.

They performed a range of songs that included Only You and Any Dream Will Do, said Ms Graper, Head of Music at University Academy Holbeach. “The residents seemed to really enjoy the performance,” she said.

Earlier that day, a special harvest assembly was held at the school and soundtracked by the choir, who performed an African song called We Plough The Wheat, said Ms Graper.

UAH Vice Principal Miss Paige spoke to the pupils about “being thankful for all the things we have in life,” Ms Graper said.
