Sayers seal glory at Gedney Hill’s Joint Captain’s Day event

Steve Sayer edged to overall victory at Gedney Hill Golf Club’s 2017 Joint Captain’s Day event.

Ace Sayer topped the men’s side of the standings with a score of 43 points, which was enough to pip Craig Johnson (also with 43) into second place on countback.

Andy Davies took third position with an equally strong haul of 42 points, just one point off the pace.

In the ladies’ event, Marilyn Sayer (41 points) won by an impressive seven points.

Jackie Warlow took second place from Jenny Venters on countback after both scored 34 points.
