Eaton’s brace took his tally for the season to 48 in 31 games – and Bridge are now just nine points behind Harrox Reserves, who were hammered 5-0 at Whittlesey Reserves.

The pair meet at Broad Lane on Saturday (2pm).

Elsewhere in Division One, Sam Moses (2), Matt Radeloff (2), Jonny Allen and Martin Ward all notched to give Long Sutton Athletic a 6-0 win at Riverside and Spalding United Reserves went down 3-2 at Netherton Reserves.

In Division Two, Tydd St Mary were humbled 4-0 at Ramsey Town.

Elsewhere, Danny Firth (2), Lee Jackson (2), Harry Grigas and Joe Strickland bagged for Whaplode Drove as they won 6-1 at Division Four high-fliers Cardea.
