Santa and friends help charity

Santa and his friends at Holbeach Fire Station joined forces to raise money for charity at the weekend.

Arriving in a fire engine instead of a sleigh, Santa and the crew held a tombola and a ‘name the bear’ competition to help raise funds.

They also sold copies of the new Horsey Tales children’s book which has been launched to raise money for the Firefighters Charity.

The book, written by Johnny Mackindo and illustrated by firefighter Mike Clarey, costs £5.

It has three illustrated stories about the adventures of a horse called Tarquin. It can be found on Facebook by searching ‘horsey tales.’
