Saddle up for cycle ride’s return

A Castle Sports Complex employee is once again getting on his saddle for charity and urging you to join him.

Sales manager Josh Wright is organising the over 50-mile bike ride from Spalding to Boston and to Long Sutton on Sunday May 20.

It follows on from a hugely successful event last year that saw cyclists raise £400 for the WheelPower charity.

This year’s event will raise funds for Anna’s Hope, which aims to help children with brain tumours.

Josh said: “I’ve rode a number of big cycle events and I wanted to give Spalding cyclists a chance to have a locally organised ride.

“It was a success last year and I wanted to do it again.

“I know the family behind Anna’s Hope quite well and look forward to raising more money for them.”

It’s £15 to enter with drinks and snacks provided at two stops along the route.
