A brand new roundabout is taking shape on the A17 in a multi-million pound project.
The junction near Holbeach is currently closed while work continues to replace the T-junction with a roundabout.
The move will also open-up development for the South Lincolnshire Food Enterprise Zone.
Lincolnshire County Council is spearheading the project which has already seen new gullies, a new dyke and filter drains installed.
Ditches have been filled and new ones excavated while the base of the roundabout has also been put in place.
New kerbs have been laid and utility services diverted for Western Power Distribution and Anglian Water. Ducts to carry street lighting cables have also been installed, along with new culverts.
The work will continue this month with asphalt being laid and surfacing of widening areas into the current road.
A ban on turning right from the A17 to the A151 remains in force with the A151 closed to the beginning of September.
There will also be overnight closures from 7pm to 6am from Monday, November 13 to Friday, December 22.
The £5.4million project is being part-funded by the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Growth Fund.
A new roundabout on the A17 will allow easier access to the existing roundabout which will also be enlarged.
New access will be created for the development of new homes and the new enterprise zone.
