Rotary’s support for remembrance

Members of the Spalding Rotary Club have been out supporting the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal.

They sold poppies and accepted donations from shoppers at Sainsbury’s Spalding store.
A spokesman said: “We were delighted to see a most generous response from many shoppers who stopped to buy their poppy to wear with pride in memory of those who have suffered and died in defence of our country.
“Spalding Rotary are also proud to have laid a wreath of poppies on Remembrance Day.”
