Rockin’ good way to raise money

A special gig at Uptown Vinyl at the weekend has seen more than £500 raised for charity.

The Rockin’ Pagan took his show back to the store based at the Baytree Garden Centre in Weston.

He played for free for a couple of hours on Saturday and donations were requested for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Alan Barnsdale, who runs Uptown, said the gig had been a great success and they had enjoyed a wonderful afternoon.

Alan’s wife Sharon was recently given the all-clear after an operation for cancer.

“If you’ve never seen the Rockin’ Pagan, I’d urge anyone to see the amazing show he puts on,” said Alan.
