Roads around petrol station closed after reports of man on roof

Roads around the BP petrol station in Little London area of Spalding were closed this morning (Saturday, March 26) amid reports a person climbed on its roof.

Lincolnshire Police urged people to avoid the area this morning after being alerted to a ’concern of safety’ for a man at 3.32am.

Reports on social media said a man had been seen on the roof with police and ambulances in attendance.

A police spokesman said: ”Roads around the BP service station was closed just before 5:30am and a cordon put in place while officers dealt with the incident. The roads were reopened just after 7am.”
