Road closed for second time this week after another collision

A road near Spalding is closed for the second time in a few days due to a road traffic collision.

Fulney Drove is closed this morning (Thursday, February 6) following an incident involving three vehicles.

A resident who lives nearby told The Voice at least one of the vehicles had collided with a telegraph pole.

On Tuesday the road was closed after an incident on the road’s junction with Clay Lake Bank and Mill Drove North.

That led to a man being taken to hospital with serious injuries.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police said that no-one was injured in today’s incident.

“We were called to a damage-only three vehicle collision at Fulney Drove, Spalding at around 8.10am,” the spokesman said. “A junction at Clay Lake Bank was closed and recovery are at the scene.”
