Mark Rudd kicked off Peterborough Motocross Club’s winter series in sensational style as he bagged a victory treble on Sunday.
The Holbeach-based Team TRM racer, who is finally racing regularly again after four injury-hit years, was in dominant form in the over-35 category.
Rudd got the hole shot in race one and waltzed to a flawless win. He didn’t look back in races two and three either as he roared to first place overall with two more clear victories.
Also in action in the junior category was young gun Kieran Rudd.
He was also in fine form as he put an early crash behind him to claim finishes of fourth, second and third at the Chatteris track.
The second round of the series takes place in a couple of weeks.
