Reserves are toast of Holbeach United – off the bottom after first win

Holbeach United Reserves’ first win of the season moved them off the foot of the Premier Division in ChromaSport & Trophies Peterborough and District League.

Ironically, their maiden three-point return came on the day the first team’s 100 per cent winning start ended.

Omar Joof’s side won 4-2 at Uppingham Town and are replaced at the bottom by Crowland Town, who were hammered 5-1 at home by Moulton Harrox.

Ian Dunn’s Pinchbeck United beat Thorney by the same margin and move up to fourth spot.

In Division One, three Sutton Bridge Utd players grabbed a couple of goals each as Warboys Town were walloped 8-2. Ben English, Curtis Morais and Joseph Sutton got braces, with Kieren Lally and Barry Osborn also netting.

Spalding United Reserves are unbeaten after three matches in Division Two. They are in second place after a single-goal win at Parkway Eagles.

Pinchbeck United Reserves got their first win of the season, enjoying a 2-1 result at Thorney Reserves.

Tydd St Mary are flying high at the top of the flegling Division Three table. A third straight win was secured at Stilton United Reserves.

Meanwhile, Spalding Town’s 100 per cent start came to an end. They lost by the odd goal in five at Hampton Sport.
