Reports a person attended with a ‘gun’ in their car at a car wash has led to an arrest.
At 2.30pm last Sunday (19) Lincolnshire Police had reports of the sighting of an imitation firearm in a blue coloured Fiat 500 at Pinchbeck car wash.
They say officers tracked a vehicle back to the Spalding area. A 35-year-old man was arrested at an address in Trefoil Close, Spalding on suspicion of being in possession of an imitation firearm and an offensive weapon.
The man has been released on bail while enquiries continue.
A police spokesman said: “We would like to hear from anyone who believes they may have information that will assist the investigation.
“Anyone who is able to help is asked to contact the Investigating Officer by email at [email protected] quoting incident 247 of July 19.”
