Report ‘noxious substance’ was sprayed into car following Spalding road traffic collision

A man has been arrested after a report a ‘noxious substance’ was sprayed into a vehicle that collided with another in Spalding last night (Tuesday, April 29).

The incident occurred on Albion Street at around 4.30pm and involved a blue Audi A3 and a blue Skoda Fabia.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police said: “It was reported the driver of one of the vehicles has sprayed a suspected noxious substance into one of the vehicles at the scene. 

“A 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of a controlled drug, on suspicion of possession of a bladed knife and on suspicion of spraying a noxious substance.  He remains in custody.”
