Remembering the fallen across area

A host of ceremonies took place across the district to remember those who lost their lives fighting for freedom.

Countless hours of work were put into the events where the community came together to stand in silence for two minutes.
A parade was held in Spalding on Remembrance Sunday and at Springfields on Armistice Day (Tuesday, November 11).
As ever, there was a large turn out in Holbeach for the parade where the Bishop of Grantham took the service at 11am.
Also Harold Payne, of the Anglia Motel, and his entourage of militaria stopped off in the town centre before the service to deliver a wreath.
