Relegation rivals Casuals all but seal Spalding RFC’s fate with Memorial Field win

Spalding RFC’s relegation from Midlands Two East (North) was all but confirmed on Saturday as they lost to fellow strugglers Nottingham Casuals.

Town went down 34-17 at the Memorial Field against a Casuals side that are directly above them in the table – meaning they have lost 17 of their 18 games and are now 26 points from safety with four matches left.
