Relax and learn at Music Cafe

Holbeach Town Band opens its doors to the public on Saturday when they host their second Music Café.

Everyone is welcome whether you’re seven or 70, an accomplished player or brand new beginner, even if you fancy just popping along for a piece of cake and a brew.

This will be the second Music Café that the band has run and chairman Yvonne Butter said: “We had a very successful Music Café in April.

“Everyone involved had a great time so we decided to do it again as a way of advertising the annual Learn to Play Week from August 3 to 8.

“Pop along on Saturday and see for yourself.”

Band members will be helped by their supporters who will be running the Café.

The Music Café will start at 2pm at the WI Hall, Holbeach and you will have the chance to meet members of the Holbeach Town Band and the Holbeach Victoria Training Band and see them perform.

Bring your own instrument (or borrow one from the band) and you can join in the playing or try out some of the instruments.

Band members will demonstrate their instruments throughout the afternoon and it wouldn’t be a music café without a cuppa and cake on offer!

The band provides its members with an instrument, so you may even end up taking one home with you.
