Recruitment evening at fire station

Anyone looking to become a firefighter can get involved with a taster sessions next week.

Holbeach Fire Crew will be hosting the recruitment evening at its Station Road base on Tuesday, August 29 from 7.30pm.
The evening will consist of a ‘chat with the crew’ , a tour of the station and fire vehicles and a live RTC demonstration.
Watch manager John Kinder, said: “We are primarily looking for people to join the ‘on call’ station at Holbeach, we are open to anyone over the age of 18 who lives and or works in the town and is within five minutes of the fire station.
“It would assist us if anyone wishing to come along would book a place in advance by contacting Holbeach Fire Station facebook page or alternatively calling the LFR recruitment line 0800 3580 204 .
“Anyone interested in joining the ‘on call’ fire service from a neighbouring town, be it Spalding, Crowland or Long Sutton should apply on line or call the recruitment department or pop along to your nearest station and make yourself known.
