Record bid in memory of Karen

V COMMUNITYFour badminton players want to break a world record in memory of a friend who died from motor neurone disease.
Lewis Pearson, Andrew Scoot, Richard Johnson and Stuart Cunnington are trying to break the world record for the longest doubles badminton match.
The current record is 30 hours and the foursome hope to set a new record while raising invaluable funds for a worthy charity in the process.
The event has been organised in memory of Karen Plane, a colleague and friend to staff and members at the Castle Sports Complex in Spalding.
Karen died in July and the foursome hope to raise over £2,000 for the MND Association.
The attempt will start at 9am tomorrow (Friday) and they hope to break the record at 3pm the following day.
Everyone is welcome to go along to the Castle Sports Complex to support this world record breaking attempt in memory of Karen.
