Raising money in Bill’s memory

Try your hand at bowls while raising money for a good cause in Spalding this week.

Every year Spalding Consti Club holds a charity bowls competition in memory of Bill Borst.

The fourth annual Bill Borst Memorial Bowls Competition takes place on Bank Holiday Monday.

Doors open at 11am, with the draw taking place at midday and games starting at 12.30pm.

Any level of player is welcome and the competition is a blind pairs draw with money raised on the day going to the charity Cancer Research.

A spokesman said: “It would be great to see people come along (non members welcome) to help raise money for charity in Bill’s name.”
