Rainbow Eliza is all gold

A Spalding Rainbow has struck gold with a prestigious accolade.

Eliza Frangou, of Holbeach Rainbows, has earned the top honour possible in the organisation, the Gold award.
To do that she had to complete at least six interest badges, six skill builder badges and six theme badges.
Eliza completed all of these plus an extra six interest badges.
She was presented the award by Holbeach district commissioner Lucy Lockley.
“This is a great achievement,” said leader Debbie Machin. “Eliza put in lots of hours both with the unit and at home and we are all very proud of her.”
Meanwhile the Rainbows recently went to the house of Ann Gregory who has raised tens of thousands of pounds for the Jerry Green Dog Rescue charity in Algarkirk.
The girls took their own bits and bobs to sell adding an extra £30 to her total and leaving other items to sell at a later date.
“A massive thank you goes to Ann Gregory for her support for the Rainbows,” Debbie said.
