The first Spalding Railway and Model Engineering Show was a great success.

In March last year Dave Webster organised and ran, with the help of friends from his village, his first railway and model engineering show to raise money for the village hall and a local charity.

It was a great success, and Dave had an amazing number of requests from exhibitors to take part in 2014.

He said: “These requests far exceed the size of the village hall and so we decided to expand to the Springfields Events Centre.”

The event was held over two days and saw hundreds of visitors and exhibitors take part.
