Radio 1’s Dev takes to Loaded decks

Radio 1 DJ Dev will be rocking Spalding on Saturday night when he visits Loaded nightclub.

Dev began on weekend early breakfast and then, after gaining significant momentum, he started on weekday early breakfast, a show he still presents today, now warming up for Nick Grimshaw.

At the same time as doing early breakfast on Radio 1 Dev completed a music degree and also began running a recording studio in north London. He now produces and remixes for lots of bands and artists as well as doing his own stuff which has been played on national radio stations including Radio 1 under the name iNSOMNiAC SHACK.

DJing is still one of Dev’s passions, always playing a mix of electronic and high-octane party records.

He has played at most Radio 1 Big Weekends, Ibiza, pretty much every holiday resort you can name, as well as clubs and student unions up and down the UK.

Anyone that has ever seen him play knows that he really gets into the set leaving the dancefloor wanting more!

Loaded manager Dave Charlesworth said: “I am passionate about bringing quality music performers to the site, alongside the ever popular celeb events.

“Continuing on with the BBC Radio 1 Takeover, in February we had 1Xtra’s Nick Bright and now for March we have Radio 1’s Dev spinning the decks in Spalding.”
