Puncture forces ‘Best of British’ Team Holbeach to settle for seventh at Rally van Wervik

A final stage puncture ensured P & R Plant Hire Rally Team Holbeach had to settle for seventh overall at the Rally van Wervik in Belgium.

There were 135 starters and a very high class of entries at the event – including two from the M Sport Team Ford works Team who were using the event as preparation for the Ypres Rally.

Finishing seventh overall still made Team Holbeach the top British team, leaving driver David Tinn very happy.

He said: “The car was faultless and we pushed throughout to get the finish – the only issue being a puncture on the last stage costing us about 20 seconds.

“It was a great day with challenging stages, big cuts and was very fast.”
