Psychic supper raises cash

Rebekah’s Wish has received a massive boost thanks to a psychic supper organised by Spiritual Wings.

Rebekah’s Wish is trying to raise £20,000 to pay off the mortage on terminally-ill Rebekah Dolby’s home, allowing her four children to stay there with their grandmother after her death.

Spiritual Wings’ event raised £660.25 from the supper, raffle and auction. Added to this were donations from Barbara Price (£100), Cheryl Perkins (£100) and Stewart Bradley (£147.50).

Holbeach charity shop Chosen donated £4,000, so altogether £5,007.75 was raised.

Tracey Bradley, joint founder of the Spiritual Wings Centre, said: “My youngest daughter is in the same class as Rebekah’s daughter.

“We just want to help in any way we can and will be doing more events in the future for Rebekah’s Wish.”

Upcoming events include a fun day at the Fun Farm, Weston, on Saturday and a car wash at Kwik Fit, Swan Street, Spalding, on Sunday, from 1pm-4pm.
