Project’s logo competition

Those behind a project to create a new community space in Spalding are looking for young designers to help create a logo for it.

The St Thomas’s Project is turning the former Methodist Church on St Thomas’s Road into the new hub aimed to be used by the whole community.

The building was bought by the adjacent St Norbert’s Roman Catholic Church who are working with other local groups and businesses on the proposals including Drive By Websites Ltd.

Now they’re offering designers of any age to come up with a logo for the centre as part of a competition which includes a £150 first prize.

A spokesman for the project said: “The committee is planning to turn the building into a community space and we would like the logo to reflect the community.

“You don’t have to be a designer, just send us your best drawings or ideas. Entries from both adults and children are accepted.”

Applicants must include the text ‘St Thomas’s Project’ in their designs.

You can submit entries to competition@driveby
websites.com along with your full name, telephone number and address.

Alternatively, send your entry via the Drive By Websites Ltd Facebook page.
