Holbeach United and Pinchbeck United both enjoyed pre-season friendly wins on Tuesday night.
The Tigers defeated ChromaSport PDFL Premier Division side Netherton United 2-1 at Carter’s Park, with all of the goals coming in the second half.
Stuart Eason put the Tigers ahead soon after the break at Carter’s Park, but Dean Giglio levelled before Josh Ford fired the winner from an Andrew Tidswell cross.
This Saturday sees Holbeach welcome Stamford and former boss Graham Drury to Carter’s Park for a friendly clash (3pm).
Pinchbeck, meanwhile, beat Leverton SFC 3-1 at Knight Street thanks to goals from Fabio Ramos (2) and Alex Cammack.
Midfielder Tom Panton played for Pinchbeck, who are hoping to secure his signature from rivals Moulton Harrox.
Tonight (Wednesday) sees Spalding United host Boston Town at the Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field (7.45pm).
