‘Pow Wow’ in Fleet Hargate

Over the weekend the British Westerners Association held a ‘Pow Wow’ at the Anglia Motel in Fleet Hargate.

A spokesman said: “The group of enthusiasts met at the motel and swapped their normal identities and 21st century luxuries for a blast of the past sleeping in tents and cooking over wood fires.
“They passed the time with lasso competitions, rodeo bull riding and the occasional shootout.”
