Poulter hits first ton in top style

Youth is to the fore at Moulton Harrox, where one of their star youngsters proved to be a county hero.

Charlie Poulter, 14, smashed a breath-taking 151 runs, playing for the MCC Foundation Eastern Counties against Norfolk.

It was his first century and club captain Matt Rose said: “Over the last few years, Charlie has progressed into a very exciting player, representing Moulton across all teams and recently making his First XI debut.

“As a player, Charlie is incredibly dedicated to his development, while as a person his determination is really impressive. We are incredibly proud of Charlie’s continued development and this innings demonstrates the talent we all know he has.”
