Positive summer so far for Pinchbeck Croquet Club

Pinchbeck Croquet Club has got off to a very impressive start to the season.

They have held two one-ball competitions and played four league matches, while members have competed individually in tournaments in Newport, Colchester and Branston.

The lawn is busy most days with club members practising and enjoying the game and each other’s company.

National coach Cliff Jones has also visited to offer his superb training – especially helping the club’s beginners make really good progress to get them up to tournament standard.

In their league, Pinchbeck have won two matches, drawn one, and lost one, leaving themselves in the upper middle of the league tables, with one game left to play.
