Police have put dispersal notices in place for parts of Spalding and Sutton Bridge from tonight (Friday) until Sunday night.
The one in Sutton Bridge was in response to the anticipation of a rave happening.
Insp Jim Tyner said: “We have received information that there may be a rave this weekend in the Centenary Way area of Sutton Bridge.
“The power we are using is called a dispersal notice. The aim is to minimise the disruption to residents.”
The area of Sutton Bridge covered by this notice is Centenary Way, Chalk Lane, King John Bank, East Bank and Gunthorpe Road.
Insp Tyner said: “The message is simple. If you are intending on visiting the area to take part in a rave, you will be turned away.”
The dispersal notice is in place from 8pm on Friday to 8pm on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the Spalding dispersal notice is in place from 5pm on Friday to 5pm on Sunday.
Insp Tyner said: “Although the power we are using is called a dispersal notice, the aim is to make sure Spalding town centre is available for anyone that wants to use it responsibly and considerately.”
The area covered by this notice is the town centre contained within the boundary of Pinchbeck Road, West Elloe Avenue, Commercial Road, High Street, Holland Road, Beechfield Gardens, Love Lane, Haverfield Road, St Thomas Road, Winsover Road, Station Street and Winfrey Avenue.
The notices have been put in place using a new law designed to tackle anti-social behaviour, which came into effect on October 20.
While the notice is in place, a police officer can require a person committing or likely to commit anti-social behaviour, crime or disorder to leave the area for up to 48 hours.
