Police meet young fans

There were blues and twos at a South Holland primary school and Scout meeting when the police were called to attend.

But there was nothing to see as they were friendly visits from Lincolnshire force’s Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) who made some new young friends on their travels.
PCSO Paul Copeland gave VIP tours of his police van to children at South View Primary School, Crowland.
Pupils have had a busy few days as they also raised £432 for the BBC Children in Need Appeal last Friday.
And this Friday will see them with crazy hair or Christmas socks.
They will have to donate something chocolatey to go towards the Friends of the School’s Christmas Fair tombola.
Meanwhile, PCSO Asta Pavilanyte was the guest at Spalding Scouts when members had the chance to try on a variety of official head gear used by the force.
