Police launch appeal after collision left Spalding woman with serious head injury

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for information following a collision that left a woman in her 20s with a serious head injury.

The incident between a black Kia and a silver Volkswagen Golf occurred on West Marsh Road in Spalding at around 6.10am yesterday (Monday, November 24).

“Both vehicles sustained significant damage in the collision and one woman– a passenger – received a serious head injury,” a spokesman for Lincolnshire Police said today (Tuesday).

“Investigations into the incident remain ongoing and several lines of enquiry are being pursued in order to build up a picture of what happened before and after the collision.

“We are now asking members of the public for their help and are appealing for any information and dashcam footage that may be useful.

“No detail is too small and could help give us additional clarity as we seek to discover what happened.

“If you think you can help in any way, email [email protected] quoting the incident number 35 of 24/11/25”
