Police involved in search for missing child

Police were called in on a search for a missing child in Spalding on Thursday night.

A boy, believed to be aged four, went missing in the Horseshoe Road/Horse Fayre Fields area at about 7.45pm.

Lincolnshire Police refused to confirm any details, but did say the boy was reunited with parents “within the hour”.

A spokesman said: “We are very grateful to anyone who assisted in our endeavours to reunite this child with his parents.”
