Police investigate red kite poisoning

Police are investigating the poisoning of a Red Kite in the Crowland area.
The raptor was found dead last year and tests revealed it had been poisoned and a detailed multi-agency investigation has been conducted.
Addresses in the Crowland area have been searched and items linked to the poisoning and suspected banned pesticides were recovered.
Raptor persecution is a wildlife crime and the deliberate killing of birds of prey should be reported to officers on 111 or 999 for urgent matters.
