Lutton deaths: One body believed to be missing Bernice Williams (50)

The bodies of two people have been found in a house “in the Lutton area”, say Lincolnshire Police.

One is believed to be 50-year-old Bernice Williams, a churchwarden at Lutton St Nicholas Parish Church, who had been missing since March 25.

Police issued an appeal on Saturday for information on her whereabouts. That appeal has now been taken down from the force’s website.

Officers are investigating the cause of death of the man and woman and the circumstances surrounding the incident.

A police statement said: “Whilst the deaths are unexplained, police are not seeking anyone else in connection with this enquiry.”
