Police confirm Spalding shootings offender Lance Hart did not have shotgun certificate or firearms licence

Lincolnshire Police have confirmed that the man suspected of carrying out the three fatal shootings in Spalding on Tuesday (July 19) was not a shotgun certificate or firearms licence holder.

The force have revealed that the provenance of the weapon used is an active line of enquiry they are pursuing.

The three people killed in the shotgun incident in the grounds of Spalding’s Castle Sports Complex have been named unofficially as Moulton man Lance Hart (57), his wife Claire (50) and their daughter Charlotte (19).
