Police appeal for witnesses to bus incident

Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident which saw a teenager allegedly struck by a bus in Spalding.

 
The circumstances are that a 14-year-old schoolboy was walking at the junction of Halmer Gardens and Halmer Gate on Friday, November 11, at 3.20pm when he was struck from behind by a vehicle.

 
The impact caused him to fall to the floor and sustain minor injuries.

 
Lincolnshire Police have no registration number at present and the pupil can only describe the vehicle as being a yellow double-decker bus.

 
According to the pupil the bus stopped briefly but then proceeded to drive away without checking if he was alright.

 
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Lincolnshire Police, quoting incident 359 of November 11.
