There will be plenty of Magic Moments at The South Holland Centre this Saturday (August 20) thanks to a soulful tribute.
Soul Kinda Wonderful is coming to the Spalding stage, an award winning tribute to The Drifters, The Four Tops and The Temptations featuring Richie Sampson.
The group itself were award winners at the National Tribute Awards in 2013, 2016 and 2016.
Their show combines The Drifters’ greatest hits along with other classic Motown and soul favourites from artistes such as The Four Tops and The Temptations this is soul and Motown at its very best.
A spokesman for The South Holland Centre said: “Lead vocalist, Richie Sampson, has performed alongside former long standing members of The Drifters, such as Ray Lewis, Billy Lewis, Butch Leak and Roy Hemmings.
“The band breathes new life in to the classic Drifters hits such as Under the Boardwalk, Save the Last Dance for Me, Up On The Roof and Kissing In The Back Row of The Movies.
“The group also pays tribute to the great original members such as Ben E King, Clyde McPhatter, and Johnny Moore whose music will always be remembered.”
The show is on at 7.30pm with tickets available for £25 from www.south
