Plea for further works on Woolram Wygate

A councillor has called for all of Woolram Wygate’s potholes to be fixed and is urging others to say where work is needed in her Spalding West division.

While welcoming the work done outside Spalding Primary School on the street, Coun Angela Newton has called on Lincolnshire County Council to fix the rest of the street.

She’s also looking to get yellow lines on Wygate Meadows to stop people parking dangerously.

Coun Newton says the Woolram Wygate works were brought forward from earlier in the year at her request.

She said: “I wrote and thanked the team and also asked why other pot holes between the school and Pennygate had not been done. If residents have a highway matter they wish to put forward they can contact me on [email protected] or [email protected]
