Plans for primary school’s extensions

Plans to expand a village primary school have been submitted to South Holland District Council.

Two single-storey additions to Fleet Wood Lane Primary School, built in 1780, have been outlined.
The ‘end of life’ of a temporary mobile building has prompted the application to create permanent extra space. The two extensions would be on the front of the school building if approved.
A new classroom and ‘secure and welcoming’ reception area would be created.
