Plans for nine Holbeach homes refused

A proposal to build nine homes on the former Hooks of Holbeach site has been turned down for a second time.

Outline permission to build on the site off Fleet Street was granted for six homes in both 2021 and 2024.

But a full approval for nine homes was turned down earlier this year and another proposal for the same amount as been given the same treatment.

The officer’s report refusing the application describes the application as ‘a poorly integrated development which would be harmful to the character and appearance of the area’.
