A new mobile classroom could be lifted into place at a primary school to help meet demand for places for under twos.
A planning application has been submitted by Lincolnshire County Council for the extension of Sunbeams Playgroup, based at Westmere Primary School, Sutton Bridge.
A decision was due to be made by South Holland District Council and if granted could help meet the need for 20 additional places for children up to the age of two from September.
The expansion would mean four new jobs being created.
The application is for the classroom to remain in place for five years.
Another application has been made to retain the existing mobile currently used by Sunbeams.
