Motorists face a month of delays and diversions with another emergency closure of Pinchbeck Road, Spalding.
Anglian Water is repairing the area of road outside Taylors Vauxhall which has been cordoned off and collapsing for months.
A spokesperson said: “Our teams are currently repairing a collapsed sewer on Pinchbeck Road in Spalding.
“After the road surface began to deteriorate over the weekend, an emergency road closure was put in place to allow us to carry out the necessary work.
“The road is expected to remain closed for a month with diversions in place.
“All the businesses in the local area will be open as normal.
“We’re sorry for any inconvenience this causes and would like to thank local residents, businesses and road users for their continued patience while we carry out this vital work.
“Our teams will be working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible.”
The road was closed for five days following an emergency closure by Lincolnshire County Council on May 8 for repairs of dips in the surface further towards Kings Road.
The spot outside Taylors has been a problem on and off since 2009.
