Pinchbeck Rainbows’ £90 for charity

A group of Rainbows raised £90 for a charity that saves lives by supporting research into medical conditions.
1st Pinchbeck Rainbows raised £90 for Action Medical Research as part of their work towards a Paddington bear challenge badge.
The girls went on a walk around the village to find Paddington’s belongings and put them in his suitcase, they also made honey cakes and marmalade sandwiches.
They also made their own Paddington suitcases, made puzzles and challenges they thought he would like and most creatively made their own version of Paddington bear.
The Rainbows also enjoyed a cinema trip to watch Paddington himself in the new Paddington bear film.
Unit guider Lucy Vere said: “Action medical research helps to fund finding new cures for devastating diseases that affect young children
“The Rainbows made a significant contribution to the charity as it has the vital research ready to go but just can’t fund it.”
